It seems the longer you've been dating your boyfriend, the harder it can be to keep things exciting, fun and different. You've probably done the same old thing over and over again for some time and are looking for something different. If you are looking for fun things do with your boyfriend, I might be able to help.
The first thing I would encourage you to do is to stop and think about what you each like, what are your hobbies, interests and passions (except for each other, of course)? Then, try to find some sort of activity that will play into one or more of those interests.
For example, let's say your boyfriend is the artistic type. He loves to draw, paint, sketch, take pictures, etc. If that's the case why not pack a beautiful picnic basket and a blanket and "kidnap" him and take him to a beautiful spot outside?
Make sure you also grab his camera or paints. Then after your picnic you would just lay in the sun while he does his thing. Maybe he would even want to draw, paint or photograph you.
Let's say your guy is into sports. That's actually one of the easiest because you can just get him tickets to see his favorite team. If you have the money you could even get tickets for an out of town game and make a night or weekend of it.
Most cities, and even very small towns, have some sort of museums, parks and outdoor activities. If you want to find something different and fun things do with your boyfriend you can spend a little time exploring what is offered right in your own home town.
Many of these attractions are free or very low cost so even if you are on a limited budget you can still do it. What about just going on a bike ride, hike or roller blading?
In the winter the two of you could go down to your local ice rink, most will have skate rentals, and go skating. Afterward head back home and enjoy a quiet night by the fire with a nice meal.
If you enjoy looking at the stars why not plan a night time picnic? You could do the same thing I mentioned above except this time take some binoculars, or better yet, a telescope and pick out the various constellations. You could even check out a book about constellations at the library and take it with you.
It's not really that hard to think of fun and unique things to do with your boyfriend though, it may take a little time and the ability to think outside of the box.
The first step when trying to figure out fun things do with your boyfriend is to think about his interests and try to find activities that are in line with those interests. You may not always pick out activities that he likes, but he sure will appreciate all the time and effort you put into it.
